The price is the price.
Where we can, we quote on the phone. Where we can't, we come and look — for free — then quote before any work begins. No mystery line items.
Clean tools, clean floor.
Dust sheets out, boots off where they should be, mess cleared up before we leave. It's your house, not a worksite.
Twelve months on the work.
Labour on standard jobs is guaranteed for twelve months. Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty. Boilers are registered to the installer scheme so the long warranty (up to 12 years on some models) actually applies.
If something's wrong, we come back.
If a job we did stops doing what it should, you call the same number and we sort it. No new ticket, no "different department", no fobbing-off-the-warranty.

Six things we will not do.
Most plumber complaints come from the same handful of things. Here's where we draw the line.
No surprise bills.
The price you're told on the phone or in the quote is the price on the invoice. Anything found mid-job that changes scope is paused and re-quoted before work continues.
No upsell on the doorstep.
If the cheaper repair is the right one, that's what we recommend. If a new install is genuinely the better call, we'll explain why — but the choice stays yours.
No "call-out fee" at the end.
If you call us out in our coverage area for standard work, the call-out is free. Out-of-hours surcharges are disclosed before we set off — never tacked on after.
No gas without Gas Safe.
Every gas job — boiler, hob, gas pipework, CP12 — is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Card available on request. Anyone working unregistered is breaking the law.
No leaving a worse mess.
Dust sheets down before we start. Floors and surfaces protected. Anything we cut, lift or move is put back. The kitchen looks the same when we leave, minus the leak.
No vanishing on warranty.
If a job we did stops working in its 12-month labour warranty period, you call the same number. We come back. No diverting you to the manufacturer's helpline.
